Released on May 20th worldwide, Wolfenstein: The New Order is the latest in a series of games within the franchise, one which has been going since 1981. Wolfenstein is a first-person action-adventure shooter developed at MachineGames. This chapter reignites the franchise widely recognised for pioneering the first-person shooter genre. The game is set in the 1960s in an alternate world history where the Nazi regime are now ruling the globe with an iron fist after winning World War II using mysterious advanced technology. Throughout the game you will be sent all across Europe to take down the monstrous Nazi war machine.AMMcom Ltd started its operation in Malta back in January 2014 and is being part funded by Malta Enterprise. Speaking about the recent Wolfenstein release, Tim Chaney, CEO at AMMcom said “We are very pleased to be ready for the day and date release of one of the oldest franchise games. Wolfenstein will go on to sell millions of copies worldwide and it's good to know some of them will come from Malta”.
The gaming company has big plans and is looking to expand its operations in Malta. AMMcom will spearhead the recruitment and training of local students fresh out of university and other colleges to work on its websites and game development projects.
